Join Us for this Project Misik Celebration: “In a Somerville Yard,” where we will be led by three of our previously featured artists: Becky Bass (Steel Pan), Peniel Guerrier (Afro-Haitian folkloric drum & dance), Solomon Murungu (Mbira), in FREE workshops, and we will featured two newly confirmed special guests: DJ LADY LY and Gourmet Kreyòl Haitian Food Truck!! ALL featured artists will lead a FREE workshop in African diasporic arts and will perform with ZILI MISIK at the end of our day!! We will provide instruments, you bring YOU (and your dancing shoes)!
